Another New Man Of Steel Poster

Warner Bros. Pictures has released a new theatrical poster from Zack Snyder‘s Man of Steel. The official Man of Steel Twitter account debuted the latest poster for the upcoming reboot with a little reminder – “In five weeks…” The film is being produced by The Dark Knight director Christopher NolanMan of Steel is currently set for a June 14, 2013 release date.

In the film, a young boy learns that he has extraordinary powers and is not of this Earth. As a young man, he journeys to discover where he came from and what he was sent here to do. But the hero in him must emerge if he is to save the world from annihilation and become the symbol of hope for all mankind.

The film features an all-star cast and features Henry Cavill as Superman, Amy Adams as Daily Planet journalist Lois Lane, Russell Crowe as Superman’s Kryptonian father Jor-El, Michael Shannon as the villainous General Zod, and Laurence Fishburne as the Daily Planet’s editor-in-chief, Perry White. Diane Lane and Kevin Costner also star as Martha and Jonathan Kent, Clark Kent’s adoptive parents. Squaring off against the superhero are two other surviving Kryptonians, General Zod and Faora, Zod’s evil partner, played by Antje Traue. Also from Superman’s native Krypton are Lara Lor-Van, Superman’s mother, played by Ayelet Zurer, and Superman’s father, Jor-El. Rounding out the cast are Jadin Gould as Lana Lang, Harry Lennix as U.S. military man General Swanwick, and Christopher Meloni as Colonel Hardy.
