Jurassic Park IV Is Now Set For 2015

The long delayed, and often thought dead, dinosaur sequel Jurassic Park 4 has a new release date…again. ComingSoon.net is reporting that Universal Pictures has unveiled new banners for the film at the Licensing Expo 2013 in Las Vegas. The banners indicate that the studio is now targeting a release in 2015 after announcing last month that the project was going to be pushed back from its previous June 13, 2014 release date. In addition, the Licensing Expo book states that the film will be shot in 3D.

Very few details are known about the Colin Trevorrow-directed, Steven Spielberg-produced film. The most recent draft of the film was reportedly written by Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver.

The original Jurassic Park was released in June 1993 and grossed over $357 million at the box office, becoming the highest grossing film of that year.  That film saw a 3D theatrical re-release last month.
