Nicholas Cage In Talks For Lost Melody

Nicolas Cage is reportedly in talks to join Terry Zwigoff’s latest, Lost Melody, according to The Wrap. The site says that the star is in talks to play the lead in the offbeat indie drama.

Lost Melody will feature Cage as a man who falls in love with a prostitute and must find a way to escape his unpleasant wife.

Zwigoff, whose previous credits include the documentaries Crumb and Louie Bluie, is also well known for narrative films like Ghost World, Art School Confidential, and Bad Santa. He also co-wrote Lost Melody with Melissa Axelrod.

Lost Melody will be produced by Edward R. Pressman with Anthony Scaramucci serving as executive producer.
