Peter Pan Returns To Blu-ray In Return To Never Land

Return To Never Land - Theatrical Poster - Courtesy of Walt Disney Home EntertainmentWalt Disney Home Entertainment has officially announced addition of the animated sequel Return to Never Land to their upcoming slate of Blu-ray releases. The film will will be released in a Blu-ray/DVD/Digital Copy combo pack. The Peter Pan sequel was directed by Robin Budd and Donovan Cook and features the voice talents of Harriet OwenBlayne WeaverCorey Burton, and Jeff Bennett. Return to Never Land will be available for purchase online and in stores beginning on August 20th.

In the film, Wendy’s very practical and no-nonsense daughter, Jane (voiced by Owen), begins the adventure of a lifetime when the infamous Captain Hook (Burton) whisks her away to the enchanted island of Never Land. It’s up to Peter Pan (Weaver), Tinker Bell and the Lost Boys to help Jane believe in faith, trust and pixie dust. With the first-ever Lost Girl at his side, will Peter Pan finally defeat Hook and his swashbuckling band of pirates?

Return to Never Land was released in February of 2002 and grossed over $109 million in worldwide box office.

The Blu-ray edition of Return to Never Land features a 1080p video presentation and a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround track. Extras have yet to be revealed.
