Scary Movie 5 – Theatrical Trailer #2

Scary Movie 5 - Theatrical Poster - Courtesy of Dimension FIlmsDimension Films has released a second theatrical trailer for the upcoming Scary Movie 5. Additionally, they have released the first theatrical poster for the film via IMP Awards, which can be seen in the upper right hand corner. The film is being directed by Malcolm D. Lee and stars Ashley TisdaleLindsay LohanCharlie Sheen, and Terry Crews. The script was written David Zuckerand Scary Movie series alum Pat Proft.  The film is scheduled for release on April 12, 2013.

The spoof comedy also stars Erica AshSimon RexMolly ShannonJerry O’Connell, Marisa Saks, Heather LocklearJasmine GuyKate WalshMike TysonAudrina PatridgeKendra Wilkinson, and Katt Williams. Most of the actors are only making small cameo appearances in the film.

In the film, snooty, aloof, imperious, and oversexed French dance company director Pierre is putting on a new production. Jody (Tisdale), a Caucasian late-20s mother of two and her late-20s African American friend Kendra (Ash) are both vying for the lead in the production. Jody’s extremely controlling former dancer mother is determined that Jody will have the brilliant career that eluded her. The highly skilled mid-30s Diva veteran dancer with the company, Heather Daltry (Shannon), gets cut from the production and goes berserk.
