Blade Runner (1982) Happens Today on 4k UHD

On September 5, 2017, Warner Home Entertainment released Blade Runner on 4k UHD. Ridley Scott directed the film starring Harrison Ford, Rutger Hauer, Sean Young, and Edward James Olmos.

The film grossed just over $27 million dollars at the box office, but found a renewed life due to home video and two subsequent director’s cut theatrical releases.

In a signature role as 21st-century detective Rick Deckard, Harrison Ford brings his masculine-yet-vulnerable presence to this stylish noir thriller. In a future of high-tech possibility soured by urban and social decay, Deckard hunts for fugitive, murderous replicants—and is drawn to a mystery woman whose secrets may undermine his soul.
