Blood Alley (1955) Has Blu-Ray in Its Veins

‘Blood Alley’ Movie Synopsis

Capt. Tom Wilder is a tough-as-nails merchant ship captain who risks his life on a daring mission to shepherd a boatload of refugees through Blood Alley; the ocean straits separating mainland China from Hong Kong, and an insurmountable barrier for refugees from Communist China. To succeed, Cathy Grainger, the daughter of a missionary the Red Army murdered, must convince the Captain that the overall good of these people outweighs his instinct for personal survival. Wilder then uses all his skill and wiliness to run the gauntlet of gun ships and warplanes patrolling the passage to Hong Kong.
