A Lone Star Production released Blue Steel to theaters on May 10, 1934. Robert N. Bradbury directed the film which starred John Wayne, Eleanor Hunt, and George ‘Gabby’ Hayes.
In 1934’s Blue Steel, US marshal John Carruthers observes a robbery and Sheriff Withers thinks Carruthers might be the robber and man known as the Polka Dot Bandit. It turns out the bandit is all part of a wealthy landowner,’s plan, to swindle local ranchers out of their land after he finds a vein of gold running under their rancher’s properties.
