Contagion (2011) spreads uncontrolled to DVD

On March 5, 2012, Warner Home Entertainment released Contagion on DVD. Steven Soderbergh directed the film starring Matt Damon, Kate Winslet, and Jude Law.

‘Contagion’ Movie Synopsis

In Contagion, Beth Emhoff returns from a business trip to Hong Kong with a stop over at the Chicago airport to have sex with a former lover. Beth feels ill, but thinks the problem is jet leg. After she travels back home to Minneapolis, her illness spreads to her son Clark and her husband, Mitch. When Beth and Clark die, the doctors quarantine Mitch, and they discover that he’s immune to this mysterious virus. Meanwhile in Hong Kong and London, cases of the mystery illness crop up. Soon, the American CDC and the World Health Organization begin researching the virus. A race against the clock begins, as the virus seems to spread in a geometric progression that threatens humanity’s existence.
