The plot of Doc Savage: The Man of Bronze is a fairly simple one, and somewhat cliched by today’s super-hero standards. Doc and the Fabulous Five fly to the Republic of Hidalgo after Doc’s father, Clark Sr, mysteriously dies there. Upon arrival, Doc meets Captain Seas. He and his “green death” seek to kill Doc and company so he can keep a pond of gold Clark Sr was given from some local tribesmen.
