IFC Independent Film released Grabbers to DVD on November 12, 2013. Jon Wright directed the film starring Richard Coyle, Ruth Bradley, and Russell Tovey.

‘Grabbers’ Movie Synopsis

When police officer Lisa Nolan arrives to Erin Island in Ireland to help cover for a local officer’s two-week vacation, she gets more than she bargained for. Unbeknownst to her, some blood-thirsty aliens have landed in the ocean and are about to spread to the island. After dead whales wash up on shore and some townsfolk mysteriously disappear, Nolan and her co-worker, Garda Ciarán O’Shea believe the town is in real danger. With the help of a local doctor, they learn that high blood alcohol levels will repel the creatures. As an approaching storm blocks any help from the mainland, these two officers must now keep the townsfolk drunk to save them from certain death.
