Missing in Action II: The Beginning (1985) Takes Cover on Blu-ray

On October 9, 2012, MGM/UA Home Entertainment released Missing in Action II: The Beginning on Blu-ray. Lance Hool directed the film starring Chuck Norris, Soon-Tek Oh, Steven Williams.

‘Missing in Action II: The Beginning’ Synopsis

Missing in Action II stars Chuck Norris as Colonel James Braddock. It is a prequel to the first Missing in Action, set in the early 1980s it shows the capture of Colonel Braddock during the Vietnam war in the 1970s, and his captivity with other American POWs in a brutal prison camp, and his plans to escape. Missing in Action II also stars Soon-Tek Oh, Steven Williams, and Bennett Ohta.

Missing in Action II was released in 1985 and grossed over $10 million at the box office. The film was followed by one additional sequel, 1988’s Braddock: Missing in Action III.
