Olympus Has Fallen (2013) Lands On Blu-ray This August
Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced they are adding their action-thriller Olympus Has Fallen to their upcoming slate of Blu-ray releases. The film is directed by Antoine Fuqua and stars Gerard Butler, Aaron Eckhart, Morgan Freeman, Angela Bassett, Dylan McDermott, Ashley Judd, Radha Mitchell, Melissa Leo, Cole Hauser, Robert Forster, and Rick Yune. Olympus Has Fallen is available now for pre-order online and will be available in stores everywhere beginning on August 13th.
In Olympus Has Fallen, the White House (Secret Service Code: “Olympus”) is captured by a terrorist mastermind and the President is kidnapped, while disgraced former Presidential guard Mike Banning (Butler) finds himself trapped within the building. As our national security team scrambles to respond, they are forced to rely on Banning’s inside knowledge to help retake the White House, save the President, and avert an even bigger disaster.
Olympus Has Fallen was released in March of 2013 and grossed over $161 million in worldwide box office to date.
