The Call of the Wild (1935) Sleds across Blu Ray in December
20th Century Fox has announced that they are releasing The Call of the Wild onto Blu-ray this May. The film is directed by William A. Wellman and stars Clark Gable, Loretta Young, and Jack Oakie. The Call of the Wild will be available online and in stores beginning December 3, 2013.
Jack Thornton has trouble winning enough at cards for the stake he needs to get to the Alaska gold fields. His luck changes when he pays $250 for Buck, a sled dog that is part wolf to keep him from being shot by an arrogant Englishman also headed for the Yukon
The Call of the Wild was released on August 9, 1935.
20th Century Fox has not released any information concerning technical specifications and special features yet.
