‘The Green Berets’ Movie Synopsis
A group of Green Berets, under the command of Colonel Mike Kirby, defend a firebase called Dodge City during the Vietnam war. Reporter George Beckworth accompanies the men even though he objects to both the war and the methods US forces use to fight it. When Kirby finds the Viet Cong and North Vietnam Army is about to take control of the base, he orders his troops back until an airstrike can help them retake it. Soon Kirby’s Superiors order him on a mission to capture a high-level Viet Cong officer deep in enemy territory Meanwhile, Beckworth gains respect for Kirby and US troops.
