‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ Takes the U.S. Weekend Box Office

For the second weekend in a row, ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ is number one in the box office followed by ‘Zootopia’ and ‘My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2’. The Batman/Superman flick dropped 68% from the previous weekend “only” bringing in $53.3 million. The Christian drama ‘God’s Not Dead 2’ came in 4th; bringing in $8 million for its opening weekend in 2419 theaters, and ‘Meet the Blacks’ came in 8th for its opening weekend with $4.1 million in 1015 theaters.

Sammo Hung’s ‘My Beloved Bodyguard’ Easily Beats ‘Batman v Superman’ in China Box Office

Sammo Hung’s action/drama ‘My Beloved Bodyguard’ took the top spot in it’s opening weekend in China; bringing in $25.2 million. Coming in at number 2 is the dark comedy ‘Chongqing Hotpot.’ It earned $21.8 million. ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ fell out of first place there; dropping 78% and tying with ‘Zootopia’ for third with $12.7 million.

Official Trailer For ‘Swiss Army Man’

‘Swiss Army Man’ is about a hopeless man, stranded in the wilderness, who befriends a dead body that washes up on shore one day. Together the two go on a surreal journey to get home. The film, which is directed by Dan Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, stars Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Daniel Radcliffe, Paul Dano, and is set for release on July 1, 2016.
