Chasing Papi (2003) Gets Caught On Blu-ray
On May 28, 2013, Anchor Bay released Chasing Papi on Blu-ray. Linda Mendoza directed the film starring Eduardo Verástegui, Roselyn Sanchez, and Sofía Vergara. Released on April 16, 2003, the film grossed over $12 million in worldwide box office. However, the film has had a resurgence due to Vergara’s success on her television show Modern Family.
‘Chasing Papi’ Summary
Handsome advertising executive Tomas “Papi” Fuentes (Verástegui) is truly, deeply in love with three gorgeous women in three different cities. There’s prim-and-proper Patricia (Velasquez) in New York, lovely Lorena (Sanchez) in Chicago and spicy Cici (Vergara) in Miami. But when all three arrive in L.A. to surprise Papi at his home, the situation doesn’t just heat up, it explodes. Filled with beautiful bodies, hip Latin rhythms and plenty of passion, Chasing Papi is based on a script written by Laura Angelica Simon and Steve Antin.
