Li Mu Bai is a legendary swordsman. His old friend, Yu Shu Lien, is the head of a private security company. Li Mu Bai and Yu Shu Lien have refused to act on their feelings for each other, despite having the hots for each other for decades. Li Mu Bai has decided to retire and give his sword, Green Destiny, to his old benefactor in Beijing.
In Beijing, the sword is stolen, and the thief is followed back to the governor’s compound. The governor’s home, the notorious criminal and assassin, Jade Fox is posing as the governess to the Governor’s daughter, Jen. Yu Shu Lien becomes suspicious of Jen and fairly quickly intuits that Jen is the thief.Read the full summary
