Beavis and Butt-Head Do America (1996)Beavis (Mike Judge) and Butt-Head (Mike Judge) head to the big screen. The boys discover that someone has stolen their television and set out to find a replacement. They head to their school and attempt to take the AV television home, but they end up destroying it. Beavis and Butt-Head stop by their neighbor Tom Anderson’s (Mike Judge) house and try to remove the television from his travel trailer. Eventually they come across a motel which offers a television in every room.

They meet Muddy Grimes (Bruce Willis), a criminal who is seeking to hire some hitmen to kill his wife. Believing that Beavis and Butt-Head are the hitmen, he offers them $10,000 to travel to Las Vegas and “do” his wife, Dallas (Demi Moore). The boys think that Muddy wants them to have sex with his wife. With the idea that they will be able to score and get paid enough money to buy a new television, Beavis and Butt-Head immediately agree. Muddy hands them a photo of Dallas with instructions on where to find her and then drives them to the airport.

After an eventful flight to Las Vegas, the boys arrive at the casino where Dallas is staying. They are ushered into the room that Muddy booked for them next to Dallas’ hotel room. The boys eavesdrop on her room, but they are caught by Dallas. She offers them $20,000 to go back and “do” Muddy, which the boys immediately refuse. When Beavis sans pants begins arguing with Butt-Head over who will “do” Dallas first, she realizes that they have completely misunderstood what they have been hired to do. While the boys fight amongst themselves, Dallas plants a stolen volatile biological weapon known as the X-5 Unit in Beavis’ pants. Dallas then gives the boys tickets on a bus destined for Washington D.C. and tells them that she will be waiting for them at the capital where they can take turns “doing” her.

Hey, Butt-Head, this book kicks ass. There’s this talking snake, and a naked chick, and then this dude puts a leaf on his schlong. Beavis

At the same time, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF) begins an investigation into the stolen bioweapon. The investigation is led by Agent Flemming (Robert Stack) who orders a body cavity search on everyone he encounters. Flemming works from the premise that Beavis and Butt-Head are criminal masterminds and not the horny teenage boys that they are. Beavis and Butt-Head accidentally release water from the Hoover Dam on their way to Washington D.C. Their actions cause the power to go out in Las Vegas and a tidal wave to wash away Mr. Anderson and his trailer. As a result, Beavis and Butt-Head are placed on the F.B.I.’s most wanted list.

During one of their cross-country rest stops, the boys get on the wrong bus with a group of nuns. This allows them to avoid federal agents who stop the boys’ original bus. The nuns are repulsed by the boys’ actions and later abandon them at a gift shop in the Petrified Forest National Park. The boys are told that Washington D.C. is about 2,000 miles away due East, so the not bright boys begin to walk through the desert. As they cross the desert, they encounter two men who appear to be the boys’ biological fathers. The men (David Letterman and Tony Darling) are former Mötley Crüe roadies. Beavis and Butt-Head camp with the men but awake the next morning to find them both gone. The boys begin to hike once more, but they soon collapse from dehydration.

At the same time, the actual hitmen arrive at Muddy’s motel room in Highland. The criminal is angry that he has been deceived by Beavis and Butt-Head and vows to kill them both. He begins driving after them. Muddy’s actual hitmen, who stole the television from Beavis and Butt-Head, abandon the television in front of Muddy’s motel room. Muddy catches up with the boys in the desert. He prepares to shoot them with his shotgun, but after hearing that they are to meet up with Dallas in Washington D.C., Muddy decides to take them the rest of the way in the trunk of his car to hunt down his wife.

In Virginia, the boys finally open the trunk by using a car jack. With the car in motion, they jump out onto the interstate and cause a 400-car pileup, including Mr. Anderson’s vehicle. The boys walk past the accident and casually get back on the tour bus. They stop at the Capitol before they reach the White House. At the same time, Dallas is confronted by Muddy in a parking garage before she can recover the bioweapon from the boys. Dallas seduces Muddy and they have sex in his car in the parking lot. The ATF apprehends them in the act. Dallas betrays Muddy and tells the ATF that Muddy hid the bioweapon in Beavis’ pants. Nevertheless, Dallas still gets a 60-year jail sentence.

The ATF is dispatched to the White House to arrest Beavis and Butt-Head. The White House is hosting a peace conference at the same time as the boys’ tour. Beavis consumes some caffeine pills, sugar, and coffee while on the tour and transforms himself into Cornholio. As Cornholio, Beavis wanders into the Oval Office and picks up the red phone, causing the military to go on alert. At the same time, Butt-Head encounters Chelsea Clinton and begins hitting on her. He gets thrown out of her bedroom window and is detained by ATF who subject him to a cavity search.

Beavis leaves the White House and finds Mr. Anderson’s trailer. Mr. Anderson catches him in the trailer and throws him out. The ATF spots Beavis walking around the camper without any pants on and confronts him. The ATF believes that he still has the bioweapon, but the weapon is still attached to his pants in Mr. Anderson’s trailer. Mr. Anderson opens the camper door and throws out Beavis’ pants. The pants are ripped open by the ATF, with the bioweapon flying out of them. The weapon lands on Butt-Head’s hand, who then hands the weapon to Flemming.

The ATF arrest Mr. Anderson and his wife, accusing them of trying to frame Beavis and Butt-Head. Flemming calls the boys heroes but tells them that their adventure will have to remain top secret. They boys get to meet President Bill Clinton (Dale Reeves) who makes them both honorary ATF agents.

Soon after, Beavis and Butt-Head return to Highland. They are both upset because they never scored and never got any money to buy a television. They find their old television outside of Muddy’s motel room. They pick up their television and begin walking into the sunset as they discuss masturbating in Mr. Anderson’s tool shed.
