‘Ride Him, Cowboy’ Movie Summary

John Drury passes through a town that tried and convicted a horse named Duke for attempted murder. John says that there horse isn’t dangerous, and that cowboy rides Duke like a champ.

After saving the horse, John sets out to save the town from the outlaw known as the Hawk! Henry Simms offers to help John capture the Hawk, but once the two are alone in the desert, Simms reveals himself to be the very man they set out to capture.

The Hawk gets the better of John, ties him to a Joshua Tree, and leaves him there to die. Duke saves John, but Simms is able to burn down a ranch, and frame John as the culprit and Hawk before John can return to town.

After the worst comedic trial ever put to film where John is wrongly convicted of being the Hawk, he manages to put together a posse to round up the Hawk and his gang. Once again, the Hawk gets the better of John, and knocks him out, but Duke is ready for him.

Duke corners the Hawk, and kills him with his hooves for a happy ending.
