‘Scrooged’ Movie Summary
IBC television network head Frank Cross is a cold-hearted snake. As he forces his staff to produce a version of A Christmas Carol on Christmas Eve, he finds the time to fire Eliot Loudermilk, and shaft everyone on Christmas bonuses.
At the same time, Frank’s boss hires his replacement named Brice Cummings, but that’s the least of Frank’s troubles. He soon learns that three ghosts will soon visit him; the Ghost of Christmas Past, the Ghost of Christmas Present, and the Ghost of Christmas Future.
The Ghost of Christmas Past introduces us to Frank’s lost love, Claire, and his rise to power at the station. The Ghost of Christmas Present tries to slap some sense into Frank. The Ghost of Christmas Future shows Frank that he will die alone.
The three ghosts finally convince Frank to change his ways. In a sappy monologue on live TV, Frank redeems himself for a happily ever after Christmas.
