Universal Pictures Home Entertainment released The War Wagon to DVD on August 18, 1998. Burt Kennedy directed the film starring John Wayne, Kirk Douglas, and Howard Keel.

‘The War Wagon’ Movie Synopsis

The War Wagon begins as Taw Jackson returns from prison to the ranch and gold that Frank Pierce stole from him. Jackson makes a deal with a man named Lomax—the man who shot him 5 years ago—to join forces against Pierce and steal a large gold shipment. Pierce transports his gold in an armored stage coach called the War Wagon. Of course it’s heavily guarded, so the two men have their jobs cut out for them if they are to steal back the gold that’s rightfully Jackson’s.
